The San Jose Earthquakes will hit the road to face the Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday, July 17. The match kicks off at 6:00 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Bay Area, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Two Earthquakes players were with their respective national teams to compete in various international competitions last week: midfielder Jackson Yueill with the United States and defender Marcos Lopez with Peru.
The U.S. National Team defeated Haiti 1-0 on Sunday in their opening match of the 2021 Concacaf Gold Cup played at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City. Yueill made his 13th international appearance, starting and playing 62 minutes.
The Peru National Team placed fourth in the 2021 Copa America after falling to Colombia 3-2 last Friday in the third-place match in Brazil. Lopez made four appearances during the tournament, including starting and playing 90 minutes on Friday.
