On where he sees himself as a professional after two seasons
“I’m still learning a lot. Obviously, throughout your career, you’re always learning from someone, but I would say that I’m still at that phase where I’m a young player. You’re still one of the players that’s trying to become one of the guys like Wondo. It’s still important to see how much you can take from every game and every training session. There’s always something that you can improve on. It’s consistently training and putting in as much training as you can.”
On dealing with injury and not being called into January Camp
“I think it was good for me, actually. I took some time, obviously, when I was injured and trying to recover from surgery to think about some things and obviously I was disappointed to miss out on the last January camp, but it’s something that I kind of use to push myself a bit and try and get myself into the mix for the next one. It’s one of those things you think about and there’s time for stuff like that. Obviously, a guy like Wondo didn’t get into the National Team until late in his career. And like I said, I’m still a young player, so I think it’s something that if I can continue to learn as much as I can and continue to improve my game and get better and better, there will be opportunities for me in the future.”
