Quakes midfielder Fatai Alashe has called the Bay Area home for two years now, but the third-year man out of Michigan State hasn’t forgotten where he came from.
Alashe, a proud Michigan native, isn’t shy about his fandom for Michigan sports teams. So when the Detroit Pistons visited the Golden State Warriors Sunday, Oct. 29, the 24-year-old was in attendance and all smiles after his Pistons defeated the defending NBA Champions.
Alashe has grown close with Warriors superstar and fellow Michigan State Spartan Draymond Green during his time in the Bay Area, going back and forth on Twitter.
