RENO, Nev. – Contributions on both ends of the pitch earned Reno 1868 FC defender Paul Marie a starting spot on the USL’s Team of the Week Tuesday.

Marie has been a top contributor as an offensive-minded defender during Reno’s record 16-match unbeaten streak.

In Reno’s most recent USL win against LA Galaxy II on Wednesday, Marie recorded an assist, completed 36 of 45 his passes and won eight of 13 duels overall.

Joining Marie on the Team of the Week’s 18-man roster is midfielder Jerry van Ewijk, who made the squad as a sub.

He has five goals at the midpoint.

Reno will return to action on July 28 at Greater Nevada Field when the club takes on Saint Louis FC at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for that match can be purchased at Reno1868FC.com/tickets.
