SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will host Cider Fest, presented by Strongbow, featuring local cideries at Avaya Stadium on Oct. 21 as part of the game day activities for the match against the Colorado Rapids. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Quakes Foundation.
Cider Fest will start at noon at a cider garden located in the 7UP Epicenter and will last until kickoff. The Quakes will take on the Colorado Rapids at 2:00 p.m. PT, broadcast live on NBC Sports California, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Ciders from the following cideries will be available for tasting in the cider garden: Strongbow, Redwood Coast Cider, Stella Cidre, ACE Cider, and Common Ciders.
Fans can purchase a ticket to Cider Fest for $15 with this link. Cider Fest tickets come as an add on to tickets for the Quakes match bought on the primary market and include four 4 oz cider tastings and a commemorative taster glass. Additional tastings will be sold on game day for $5. Season Pass Holders can purchase cider fest ticket by contacting their fan relations specialist.
