Hoesen became the first Earthquakes player to lead the team in scoring without a single penalty kick goal since Darren Huckerby in 2008.

Hoesen (12), Vako (10) and Wondolowski (10) each finished with 10+ goals, giving the Quakes three double-digit scorers for the first time since 2012.

The Earthquakes had four players with 4+ assists for the second consecutive season. The last time San Jose accomplished the feat in back-to-back years was 2004-05.
