The official match ball for the 2021 Major League Soccer season, coined the Nativo 21, has been unveiled, offering another chapter in the league’s history as its 26th campaign nears.
The ball, which was made in partnership with adidas, has the cities of all 27 teams on its panels. There are also elements of the United States and Canada flags, representing the North American reach of MLS. Other features are the official MLS logo and signature of Commissioner Don Garber.
After going with a retro look in 2020 to commemorate MLS’s 25th season, this year's official match ball returns to a more traditional look. That surfaces, in part, through the red, white and blue colorways.
