First-year midfielder Eric Calvillo has been named to MLS Team of the Week after making his first MLS start for the club Sunday, Oct. 21 against the Colorado Rapids. Calvillo joins Luis Robles (RBNY), Franco Escobar (ATL), Eric Calvillo (SJ), Kaku (RBNY), Ignacio Piatti (MTL), Corey Baird (RSL), Diego Rossi (LAFC) and the bench.
Prior to Sunday's match, Calvillo made his first-ever start for the black and blue in a friendly against Liga MX leading Cruz Azul.
