After a three week hiatus from home, the Earthquakes make their long awaited return to Avaya Stadium. Despite only playing two MLS games the Quakes have made the most of their time on the field. Below are some of the best choices for your week 5 fantasy team.
VAKO – Midfielder – $10.0
All he does is find ways to score. In just two games, Vako has scored a pair of goals tallied two more assists. In his first 15 MLS games Vako is scoring at a rate higher than Jozy Altidor, Diego Valleri and Bradley Wright-Phillips, just to name a few.
And yes, we know that this one doesn't count towards his MLS numbers, but just watch what Vako can do in the open field.
Danny Hoesen – Midfielder – $8.5
Speaking of scoring, all Hoesen did his last time at Avaya Stadium was take home tally a brace and take home the MLS Player of the Week and Audi Player Index Performer of the Week awards; Plus, Any guy that Chris Wondolowski thinks has a shot at winning the MLS Golden Boot should be in your lineup… right?
Magnus Eriksson – Midfielder – $8.7
His only scoring of the season came in the form of an assist vs. Sporting KC, but what an assist is was, a 40 yard strike hitting Wondo in stride, on what would be goal #135 for the captain. This could just be the week that Magnus finds the back of the net, and once the scoring starts, you will be glad to have him on your roster.
Chris Wondolowski – Forward – $9.2
You really shouldn’t need convincing here. Last time out, Wondo did Wondo things, Play 90 minutes – Check, Score a Goal – Check. You can count on the Captain like clockwork.

We normally wouldn’t mention an opposing player here, but this is David Villa we are talking about. Sure he 36 years old, and yes, he sat the past two game due to injury, but this is also a guy that tallied 64 goals in just over 3 seasons.
