The international break is nearing its end and MLS players will begin to head back to their respective clubs. For the Quakes, Jackson Yueill and Nick Lima represented the red, white, and blue, Harold Cummings featured with Panama, Marcos Lopez with Peru and Vako and Guram Kashia represented Georgia in their European qualifiers.
The Quakes have a pair of road matches in Week 28. The Quakes will play a midweek match at Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, September 11, then travel to the East Coast to take on New York City FC on Saturday, September 14.
Having players that will compete in two matches a week is ideal for fantasy managers but it's hard to say which players will feature in these games. So that begs the question, which Quakes players do you select to take advantage of their two-match week?
You can still rely on the likes of Magnus Eriksson ($11.3m) and Cristian Espinoza ($10.8m) to be featured in both matches. Espinoza leads the team in assists with 12 while Eriksson has scored six goals this campaign. With these two in such great form, it’ll be hard to make the decision between the two. You really can’t go wrong with either in your lineup.
When it comes to looking for a forward, Chris Wondolowski ($7.9m) has found himself on the scoresheet twice against Orlando and he leads the team in goals with 13. For $7.9, you can't go wrong with the MLS goal scoring king.
Good luck in Week 28 fantasy managers.
