The San Jose Earthquakes are excited to welcome fans back to PayPal Park! Here’s what fans need to know before returning to the stadium.
Social Distancing
The Quakes are staying compliant with Santa Clara County. Only 20 percent of fans will be back at PayPal Park to allow the appropriate six-foot social distancing. Fans will be in assigned seats in pods to follow local guidelines.
Masks are required
Fans are required to bring their own CDC-approved face covering and to wear the mask prior to arrival at entry gates. Face coverings are required at all times except while actively eating or drinking in your seat. Children under the age of 2 don’t have to wear a mask.
Food trucks and concessions will be open
Fans will be able to purchase food from a variety of food trucks and concession stands around the stadium.
Sanitation and safety
To secure our fans' safety, water fountains will be closed, and all guest areas will be sanitized prior to every home match. Additional hand sanitizers will be installed throughout PayPal Park and restrooms will be cleaned frequently by a designated sanitation team. The Earthquakes are in accordance with approved CDC methods and products to ensure that fans feel safe being back.
Tickets are digital!
To make things easier for our fans, tickets will only be available on the Earthquakes mobile app to provide a contactless experience.
Parking
Stadium gates will open to the public 60 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans will be able to park in the Audi lot, Parking Structure 1 and Parking Structure 2. Tailgating will not be allowed for the home opener.
