The San Jose Earthquakes introduced the Quakes Axisvideo series last year, allowing fans to get a behind-the-scenes look at every home game and the occasional road trip. From pregame and halftime locker room speeches to seeing inside the team’s huddle moments before kickoff, Quakes Axis is unparalleled insider content that displays the full range of emotions that come with the peaks and valleys of an MLS season.
This weekend, during the team’s first California Clasico of 2018, the Earthquakes are inviting fans to be a part of the action. All fans traveling down to Carson for Friday night’s match at StubHub Center, or attending the watch party at Hapa’s Brewing Company, or simply watching at home, are encouraged to post videos on Twitter or Instagram and tag @sjearthquakes. The best videos, which must be filmed horizontally, will be used on the upcoming episode of Quakes Axis, to be released next week.
All game-related video submissions, including the drive down to SoCal, scenes from inside and outside StubHub Center, pregame tailgates, action on the field or watch-party celebrations, are welcome.
Consider this your warmup for the Clasico at Stanford Stadium on June 30.
As always, go Quakes!
