SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Fatai Alashe successfully underwent a procedure to repair a hernia on Friday morning. The surgery was performed in Los Angeles and is expected to keep him out for four to six weeks.
Alashe finished second in voting for the MLS Rookie of the Year Award in 2015 after making 28 appearances (27 starts) and tallying two goals and two assists.
