ACADEMY UPDATE: U14s remain undefeated after 1-1 draw against Sacramento Republic

The Earthquakes Academy’s U13s, U14s, U15s, and U17s faced local rival Sacramento Republic on Saturday, Nov. 20 at Las Positas College. The U13s fell short, losing 1-0 while the U14s tied 1-1 to remain as the only undefeated team in the Quakes Academy. The U15s defeated Sacramento 3-1, extending their winning streak to six games, while the U17s lost 2-1. 

Former Quakes Academy player Cade Cowell made a special appearance on Saturday to cheer on the club.

The Quakes Academy now enters a bye week to enjoy Thanksgiving break with family and friends. The U13s and U14s will prepare to face the San Francisco Glens on Wednesday, Dec. 8th and Lamorinda SC on Saturday, Dec. 11.

The U15s and U17s will fly to Southern California on Dec. 2 for MLS NEXT Fest 2021, where they will have an opportunity to qualify for the Generation adidas Cup.
