The Earthquakes Academy’s U-15 and U-17 squads traveled to Utah to face Real Salt Lake’s Academy on Saturday Oct. 30. The U-15s defeated RSL 3-2, while the U-17s fell 2-1.
After their matches, the squads had the opportunity to watch the San Jose Earthquakes game against RSL at Rio Tinto Stadium and even had the chance to shake hands with midfielder Shea Salinas before kickoff.
Back at home, the U-13s and U-14s extended their undefeated streak after keeping two more clean sheets against WSC Crush. The squads outscored WSC 3-0 and 8-0.
The U-13s and U-14s now will prepare to take on Diablo Valley Wolves on Nov. 6. The U-15s and U-17s are set for back-to-back matches against the Portland Timbers Academy and the Seattle Sounders FC Academy on Saturday Nov. 6 and Sunday Nov. 7.
