One of the hardest work players ever to put on a Quakes uniform, Mulrooney excelled in central midfield for six seasons with San Jose. He ranks fourth in assists in team history and is first in fouls suffered. His tenure was one of the most successful in team history with MLS Cup wins in 2001 and 2003 and four consecutive playoff appearances from 2001-2004. He notched an assist on Landon Donovan’s goal in the 2001 MLS Cup Final and then scored the match-winner against the Chicago Fire in 2003. He was inducted into the Quakes Hall of Fame in 2019.
