A dynamic attacker from Luton, England, Ingram helped propel one of the best NASL Quakes teams in history to an outstanding year in 1983. That Quakes squad went unbeaten at home in the regular season, scoring 71 goals in 30 games. Ingram scored 15 goals and had 11 assists in 27 games that year, following up on his 1982 season in which he found the back of the net 17 times. He was named an NASL All-Star in 1982.He also had two excellent indoor seasons with the Quakes.
