With a great first touch and finishing ability, Dawkins left a big impression on his teammates and the fans during his four seasons in San Jose. Originally a loanee from Tottenham Hotspur, he had two strong seasons, including eight goals in the 2012 Supporters’ Shield campaign. Playing both in the middle and on the wing, Dawkins controlled the midfield for San Jose. His most memorable moment in a San Jose kit came in 2016 when he scored a game-winning goal against Toronto FC despite the Quakes being down two players due to red card ejections.
