Cowell is the youngest player in Quakes history to start and score a goal in game. A lightning-fast homegrown player from Ceres, Calif. Cowell is the youngest player in MLS history to make 100 appearances. He scored 10 goals and notched 15 assists in his 5-year stint with the Earthquakes. During his time in San Jose, he also excelled for the U.S. U-20 national team, leading the team in goals during the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup. He also debuted with the senior men’s national team and scored at the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Quakes transferred Cade to Chivas prior to the 2024 season.
