The all-time leader in almost every goalkeeper category in team history, Cannon made the spectacular look routine during his Quakes career. Another local product, he starred at St. Francis and Santa Clara University before embarking on a 15-year professional career. With San Jose, he anchored the defense for the 2001 MLS Cup Champions and followed that up by winning the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2002. He won 66 games in goal, posted 44 shutouts and 693 saves during his tenure. He was also a mainstay in the community for the Quakes and earned a spot in the Quakes Hall of Fame.
