Another local standout, Beitashour played for Almaden Youth Soccer and then Leland High School as a youth player. He came to the Quakes in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft and helped the team to a playoff berth that year. His best season in a San Jose uniform came in 2012 when he earned a spot on the MLS All-Star team, while helping the team to the Supporters’ Shield that season. He notched 16 assists in his final three seasons, setting up the Quakes high scoring trio of Chris Wondolowski, Alan Gordon and Steven Lenhart with many of his passes.
