A true hometown product, Baicher played for Homestead High School, Foothill College and Santa Clara University before earning a spot on the San Jose Clash’s inaugural roster. He played 30 games in that first season, helping the team earn a playoff berth. He followed that up with a career best 10 goals in 1997 and ended his career with 20 goals and 15 assists for the Clash, including a memorable diving header on opening day in 1999.
