The San Jose Earthquakes held a scrimmage against their USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC Monday afternoon as both teams looked to continue giving players minutes ahead of the grind of the season.

The Quakes came back from a goal down to beat Reno 2-1. Danny Hoesen and Tommy Thompson scored for the home side after Brian Brown gave 1868 FC the lead.
