SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes defender Shea Salinas underwent surgery on his left foot Friday morning. The surgery was performed by Dr. Nicholas Todd, DPM, and Dr. Shannon Rush, DPM, of Sutter Health and recovery is expected to take six weeks.
Salinas, 32, has played nine seasons with the Earthquakes, scoring 11 goals and providing 43 assists for San Jose. During the 2018 season, Salinas made 20 starts in 25 appearances, tallying two assists.
