Three members of the Quakes Academy spent last week at a camp with the U.S. U-14 Boys’ National Team.
Midfielders Diego Luna and Leonardo ‘Wish’ Martinez and defender Casey Walls, all members of the Quakes’ U-15 Academy, traveled to Chula Vista, Calif. to spend several days with the youngest squad in U.S. Soccer’s youth national team system. On Friday, the group of players competed in three scrimmages, two against Club Tijuana and the third against West Bromwich Albion.
Luna and Walls both started the second of the three matches, with Luna assisting on the game-winning goal by Dantouma Toure.
