SAN JOSE, Calif. –
The San Jose Earthquakes will host a Beer Fest, presented by Lagunitas, featuring 14 breweries, including 11 local to California, at Avaya Stadium on May 27 as part of the game day activities for the match against the LA Galaxy. Fans can enter the stadium at 4:30 p.m. and enjoy a variety of beers in a beer garden located in the 7UP Epicenter. The Quakes will take on their LA Galaxy rivals at 6:45 p.m. PT, broadcast on Univision. Prior to the match, the Mexico vs. Croatia friendly will show on the video board.
Beers from the following breweries will be available for tasting in the beer garden: Anderson Valley Brewing Co., Bear Republic Brewing Company, Camino Brewing Co., Corona, Discretion Brewing, Faction Brewing, Golden Road Brewing, Heineken, Hermitage Brewing Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Modelo, Seabright Brewing, Sonoma Springs Brewing Company and Tied-House Cafe & Brewery.
Ticket packages for the Beer Fest are available

for $45 and include a ticket to the match, access to the Beer Fest, four 4oz beer tastings and a commemorative taster glass. Fans should enter the promo code BEER to purchase the package. Earthquakes Season Ticket Holders can purchase access to the Beer Fest for $15 through their fan relations specialists and will also receive four 4oz tastings and the commemorative taster glass. Additional tastings will be sold on game day for $5.
A portion of all ticket sales will go to the Quakes Foundation and Special Olympics of Northern California. Following the match, the Quakes Special Olympics Unified Team will face the Galaxy’s unified squad on the Avaya Stadium field (
