The Earthquakes have had their share of color changes over the years, donning various kits in blue, white and red, among others. But something special is reserved for the team’s primary kit color from 2008-2013.
The menacing all-black uniform hasn’t seen the light of day in San Jose for four years, but is officially back for the 2017 season. The stylish kit combines the team’s modern day impact pattern with fond memories of the past, and features just enough blue to shake things up.
When most fans think of the Quakes in black, 2012 is the most common image in their mind. Supporters’ Shield success, a ‘Never Say Die’ attitude, and a lengthy unbeaten streak to close out the season (5-0-4) are all things the team will be looking to replicate in 2017.
