SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has traded defender Brandon McDonald to D.C. United in exchange for allocation money.
McDonald appeared in 58 games in three seasons with the Earthquakes. In his time with San Jose, he scored three goals and had three assists. The former University of San Francisco standout originally signed with the Quakes on March 20, 2009 as a developmental player following his release by the LA Galaxy.
