The San Jose Earthquakes will host two games this week at Avaya Stadium. The Quakes will play a Fourth Round Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match against the NASL’s San Francisco Deltas on Wednesday, June 14 (7:15 p.m. PT kickoff), and a regular season matchup against Sporting Kansas City on Saturday, June 17 (5:45 p.m. PT kickoff).
Wednesday will be the Quakes’ first official match against the newly minted SF Deltas, as well as their first game in the 2017 edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The 103-year-old tournament is the oldest soccer cup competition in the United States.

The Clash became the first MLS team to defeat an international opponent, downing Liga MX’s Pumas UNAM 2-1 at Spartan Stadium.
RENO 1868 FC UPDATE
Reno 1868 FC continued their fine form with a 2-0 win over Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday night. The win brings Reno’s undefeated streak in USL play to seven games (5-0-2).
Next up for the Nevada club is a Monday night matchup in Salt Lake City against Real Monarchs SLC with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m.
BURLINGAME DRAGONS FC UPDATE
Burlingame Dragons FC fell 3-2 to the Southern California Seahorses on Friday night. The team, led by Earthquakes legend Joe Cannon, will seek to bounce back when they take on Ventura County Fusion at Dragons Stadium on Saturday, June 17. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Following their Saturday matchup, the Dragons will be back on the field the next day to take on Fresno Fuego, also at Dragons Stadium, with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.
