RENO 1868 FC UPDATE
The Quakes’ USL affiliate Reno 1868 FC finished the regular season with a draw against Sacramento Republic FC at home Saturday night (1-1). Reno has cemented the USL record for most goals in a single season at 75. Adding to this historic inaugural season, Reno forward Dane Kelly took home the USL Golden Boot with 18 goals and midfielder Chris Wehan was named USL Assist Champion with 12.
Reno 1868 FC are now headed to the USL Cup playoffs as the third seed in the Western Conference and will face OKC Energy FC at Greater Nevada Field on Oct. 21 at 5:25 p.m. PT.

QUAKES ACADEMY UPDATE
The Quakes Boys’ Academy faced the Portland Timbers on Saturday at the U-15, U-17 and U-19 levels. The U-15s won 1-0, U-17s fell 3-1 and U-19s tied 1-1. On Sunday, the U-15s, U-17s and U-19s faced Seattle Sounders FC. The U-15s tied 1-1, U-17s fell 7-1 and U-19s fell 2-1. On Saturday, Oct. 21, the U-12s, U-13s and U-14s will play San Francisco Glens Evolution.
The Quakes Girls’ Academy will have a two-week break and will next face California Thorns FC on Sunday, Nov. 5.
