Reno 1868 FC remain unbeaten at home in 2019 after Saturday night’s 4-2 triumph over LA Galaxy II at Greater Nevada Field. LA Galaxy II jumped to an early lead in the third minute when forward Frank Lopez scored on penalty kick, but Reno were quick to react to the setback with two goals in the six minutes that followed. Forward Corey Hertzog tied the match at one goal apiece in the seventh minute, and forward Danny Musovski scored his first goal of the season in the 13th minute to give Reno the advantage (2-1).
Herzog has not looked back since opening his scoring account at Reno 1868 FC with a pair of goals against Tulsa Roughnecks FC (Saturday, May 4). Hertzog has tallied seven in his last six matches.
LA Galaxy II forward Augustine Williams’ goal in the 30th minute evened the score at 2-2 before halftime. Reno 1868 FC midfielder Sam Gleadle and forward Aidan Apocada tallied goals in the 60th and 65th minute, respectively, giving Reno a two-goal lead that the team would hold until the final whistle.
