Reno 1868 FC remain undefeated at Greater Nevada Field (2-0-2) after Saturday night’s 2-1 victory over New Mexico United, becoming the first USL Championship club to defeat the visitors this season. Quakes goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski and midfielder Siad Haji featured in the Starting XI for Reno.Midfielder Sergio Rivas, a Quakes’ 2019 SuperDraft selection, scored his first professional goal for the club and gave Reno a 1-0 lead. After New Mexico equalized, a late goal in the 88th minute by Reno defender Duke Lacroix secured all three points for the home side.Reno are on the road this week for a match against El Paso Locomotive FC on Saturday, April 27 at Southwest University Park. Kickoff for Saturday’s road match is set for 6:30 p.m. PT.
