The San Jose Earthquakes are happy to announce that the following six U-18 Academy players have signed their NCAA National Letter of Intent to play for their respective universities in the fall of 2016.

“Congratulations to the Earthquakes Academy players that are going to continue their soccer careers at the next level,” said Earthquakes technical director Chris Leitch. “We will continue to closely monitor and support these players as they compete for their respective universities.”
Academy products Armon Ojuola, Rei Dorwart, and Diego Alonso will square off in the Big West Conference this fall, heading to UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, respectively.
Sacramento native and academy goalkeeper Drake Callender will remain in the Bay Area after committing to the Cal Bears of the PAC-12 Conference.
East Bay natives, team captains and fellow center back partners John Austin Ricks and Rory Birse will attend college on the East Coast this fall, heading to Syracuse and Holy Cross, respectively.
