Jahmir Hyka and Albania hope to maintain their third place standing in Group G of the European region during this week’s FIFA World Cup Qualifying. With Spain and Italy deadlocked in first place with 16 points, Hykachu and his fellow countrymen will hope to earn maximum points against Liechtenstein on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Elbasan Arena and FYR Macedonia on Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Mladost.
Liechtenstein and FYR Macedonian sit at the bottom of Group G, which bodes well for Albania who are hoping to fend off fourth place Israel. Hyka last appeared for his country in a 3-0 World Cup Qualifying win against Israel on June 11.
