Pokémon have invaded Avaya Stadium

Pokemon GO - 2016 - Avaya Stadium - San Jose Earthquakes

Pokémon are invading Avaya Stadium. You read that right. Thanks to the hottest app available, you can come to the field and catch some Pokémon. Lucky enough, the Earthquakes take on Toronto FC this Saturday at 7:30pm at Avaya Stadium.
Pokémon GO was released just over a week ago in the app store for iPhone and Android devices. It already has more daily users than Tinder and is about to surpass Twitter in the same category according to Forbes. This is even more impressive because it has only been released in the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
The game uses the real world as a setting to play a virtual game. The goal is to catch as many Pokémon as possible which can then be used to battle against other players. They can be found anywhere in the country. To capture them, a player must walk around with the app open, then the app will use his or her phone camera in order to help find Pokémon lurking about. Once one is spotted, the player simply throws a virtual Poké Ball at it, and it’s his or hers to keep.

There are certain places around the world labeled as PokéStops, where he or she can go to find extra Poké Balls to help capture more Pokémon. Also, eggs can be collected at the PokéStops. After walking a certain amount of distance, those eggs will hatch and the player will get a new Pokémon that could be super rare!
Avaya is one of these PokéStops - at the stadium, a player can collect as many Poké Balls and eggs as he or she desires. The best part is that their are tons of Pokémon roaming around the stadium just begging to be captured.

This is your chance to catch some rare Pokémon and watch a thrilling soccer game. Good luck to hunters out there. Hopefully you can catch ‘em all!
