The San Jose Earthquakes will host a viewing party for the match against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Britannia Arms in Downtown San Jose. The viewing party will start at 4 p.m., with the match scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m., and will feature food and drink specials and a raffle to win Quakes prizes.
Fans wearing Quakes gear will receive a 20 percent discount on all food and can purchase pints of Bud Light, Coors Light, Tecate or a 24-ounce can of Pabst Blue Ribbon for $3 throughout the duration of the viewing party.
The Quakes will take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC in a match that comes in the midst of the playoff chase. Should the Quakes get three points against Vancouver and also win against Minnesota United in the last game of the season, they will have a strong chance of qualifying for the playoffs. The match marks the second and final time the Quakes will play Vancouver in the 2017 MLS regular season, with the Quakes having already defeated the Canadian side 3-2 at Avaya Stadium in March.
