After the 4-3 win over Sacramento Republic FC and the heartbreaking 3-1 loss at the hands of LAFC, the Quakes U.S. Open Cup run has come to a close. The Quakes put up a good fight against LAFC at the Banc but ended up falling short. According to the MLS Power Rankings, the Earthquakes now hold the 11th spot, down from their season high of 10th. The Earthquakes take on Houston Dynamo on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Avaya Stadium, then they'll battle it out with the LA Galaxy at Stanford Stadium on Saturday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m.
