NEWS: PayPal Park to Host Friendly Between El Salvador and Guatemala on April 24

SAN JOSE, Calif. – PayPal Park, home of the San Jose Earthquakes, will host a friendly match between the men’s national teams of El Salvador and Guatemala on Sunday, April 24 at 4 p.m. PT. It marks the first match between national teams at PayPal Park since Feb. 2, 2019 (USMNT vs. Costa Rica).

An exclusive presale for Earthquakes Season Ticket Holders will begin on Thursday, March 24 at 10 a.m. PT before tickets are made available to the general public on Friday, March 25 at 1 p.m. PT. Tickets can be purchased here.

El Salvador will seek to continue on an ascending path after a successful learning process through the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers with head coach Hugo Perez at the helm.

Guatemala will continue its tour in the United States following a friendly against Haiti on Sunday, March 27 at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Chapines continue to evolve under the guidance of Mexican head coach Luis Fernando Tena. With a mixture of youth and experience, Guatemala will strive to compete favorably during the upcoming 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League competition.
