NEWS: PayPal Park to Host Cal vs. Pacific on Thursday

PayPal Park, home of the San Jose Earthquakes, will host a non-conference match between the men's soccer teams from the University of California and the University of the Pacific on Thursday, Sept. 9. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. and free tickets can be claimed here. Parking in the Audi Lot will also be complimentary and light concessions will be available for purchase, although no alcohol will be served.

Cal has a 2-1-1 record so far this season. The Golden Bears’ roster has four Quakes Academy products: defenders Christopher ‘CJ’ Grey and JJ Foe Nuphaus, and forwards Fahmi Ibrahim and Alonzo Del Mundo.

Pacific is 2-1-0 to start the season, with victories over CSU Northridge and CSU Bakersfield and a defeat to Stanford.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at Edwards Stadium in Berkeley.
