SAN JOSE, Calif. – The international friendly between Chivas de Guadalajara and Club Leon at PayPal Park on Saturday, Oct. 9, originally scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. PT, has been rescheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m. PT.

Founded in 1906, Chivas are one of the most successful clubs in Mexico, winning 12 Liga MX titles, seven Campeon de Campeones and four Copa MX championships. Both recent Liga MX and Copa MX titles were won in 2017, and the Concacaf Champions League in 2018, while led by Quakes head coach Matias Almeyda.
Founded in 1944, Club Leon, Apertura 2020 Liga MX champions, have also experienced domestic success. Leon have won eight Liga MX titles, five Copa MX championships and five Campeon de Campeones. Leon’s roster features several national team players from North and South America.
