San Jose Earthquakes forward Jeremy Ebobisse has been selected to Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week for Week 6 after scoring two goals in the Quakes’ 4-3 defeat to Houston Dynamo FC last Saturday.
Ebobisse, 25, scored the Quakes’ first two goals to give San Jose a 2-1 lead in the 28th minute. His goals mark his second and third of the season and 29th and 30th of his MLS career. He has now scored three goals in the last two matches. His brace marks the third of his MLS career and first since Oct. 7, 2020 (vs. LA).
The Earthquakes have now had one player selected in the last two MLS Team of the Weeks (Cade Cowell, Week 5).
