SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes midfielder George Asomani underwent surgery to repair a ruptured quadriceps muscle on Wednesday. The surgery was performed by Dr. Richard Gayle at Sutter Health.
Asomani, 22, was a second-round SuperDraft selection by the Quakes in 2021. Asomani is not currently part of the team’s active roster.
