Five members of the San Jose Earthquakes Academy have been named to the most updated IMG Academy 150, the top 150 players in the nation, for the class of 2021.
The group is led by Casey Walls, who comes in as the nation’s fifth highest rated defender and the 15th best player overall. He was recently one of three players to receive a call-up to the U.S. U-14 National Team.
Diego Luna, another one of the players called to the U.S. U-14s, was pinned as the 47th best player and No. 19 among midfielders.
The group is rounded out by defender Israel Carillo (No. 105), defender Sebastian Maza (No. 129) and forward Marvin Telule (No. 146).
Midfielder Leonardo ‘Wish’ Martinez was not included on the rankings list, although he also received a call-up to the U.S. U-14s.
The six players all currently compete for the Earthquakes U-15s.
