NEWS: Earthquakes to host week of fan events ahead of California Clasico at PayPal Park on June 26

SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will celebrate the California Clasico against the LA Galaxy on Saturday, June 26, presented by Sutter Health, with a fan-interactive rivalry week leading up to the match at PayPal Park. The week will include Quakes watch party opportunities, team store discounts, and much more.

Below is a daily schedule of all the events from Monday, June 21 to Saturday, June 26:

Monday, June 21

OVERPASS PARTY (4-6 P.M.) – Quakes brand ambassadors will be at an overpass next to Marijane Hamman Park by Highway 17 North waving flags and banners, spreading awareness and cheering up Quakes fans ahead of Saturday’s matchup.

Tuesday, June 22

WATCH PARTY (3:30-8 P.M.) – The Quakes will be hosting a watch party at SP2 in Downtown San Jose to watch the team take on Orlando City SC from Exploria Stadium at 4:30 p.m. PT. Attendees will be able to enjoy specialty Quakes cocktails made with el Jimador tequila and have the chance to win raffle prizes, including California Clasico tickets for June 26. OVERPASS PARTY (4-6 P.M.) – Quakes brand ambassadors will be at overpasses on Highway 280 between Constance Drive & Moorpark Avenue.

Wednesday, June 23

OVERPASS PARTY (4-6 P.M.) – Quakes brand ambassadors will be at overpasses on Highway 101 between E. Ahwanee Avenue and E. Weddell Drive.

Thursday, June 24

TEAM STORE SALE AND AUTOGRAPHS (3-7 P.M.) – The Quakes Team Store will be offering up to 40 percent off select items across the store, and 30 percent off all non-jersey items with proof of vaccination ahead of the team’s rivalry match. Quakes fans will be able to purchase all of the club’s latest gear and participate in an autograph signing with goalkeeper JT Marcinkowski from 5-7 p.m. Thursday’s team store discounts will also be available on gameday.

OVERPASS PARTY (4-6 P.M.) – Quakes brand ambassadors will be at the overpass merger between Highway 280 and Highway 680.

Friday, June 25

QUAKES BREW BIKE (6-8 P.M.) – The Earthquakes will be hosting a group of lucky fans on a Quakes-themed San Jose Brew Bike ride alongside Quakes alumni Dwayne De Rosario, who helped the team win MLS Cup in 2001 and 2003. Known for their ‘party bike’ experience, winners will enjoy biking with De Rosario around local bars and restaurants in Downtown San Jose. Fans interested can sign up here.

OVERPASS PARTY (4-6 P.M.) – Quakes brand ambassadors will be at the overpass intersection between Highway 85 and Highway 17.

Saturday, June 26

MATCHDAY (7 P.M.) – The Earthquakes host the LA Galaxy at PayPal Park, presented by Sutter Health, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The rivalry match, which will be played at full-stadium capacity for the first time since March 2020, will be televised nationally on UniMás and TUDN, as well as on the radio via KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF. San Jose holds an undefeated 3-0-2 record in their last five home matches against LA and has not fallen to the SoCal side on home ground since May 27, 2017.
