SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has signed first-round MLS SuperDraft selection Thomas Williamson to a one-year contract with club options for 2022, 2023 and 2024. Williamson will spend the 2021 season on loan with USL Championship side Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

The Anaheim Hills native had a breakout season as a junior in 2019, making 18 appearances, 12 starts and scoring a team-high nine goals, including three game-winning goals, to earn All-Pac-12 Conference Second Team honors. He also earned Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention recognition in 2018.
