SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes players Guram Kashia, Marcos Lopez, and Vako have been called to their national teams for the November FIFA international break.
Lopez, 20, has been called to the Peru National Team for a pair of 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for the second time this year.
Peru will first face Chile on Friday, Nov. 13 (3:00 p.m. PT) at Estadio Nacional Julio MartÃnez Prádanos in Ñuñoa, Chile, before hosting Argentina on Tuesday, Nov. 17 (4:30 p.m. PT) at Estadio Nacional in Lima, Peru.
Kashia, 33, and Vako, 27, have been called to the Georgia National Team for a second set of matches as part of UEFA Euro 2020 qualification and Nations League competition.
The Georgians will first host North Macedonia on Thursday, Nov. 12 (9:00 a.m. PT) in a UEFA Euro Qualifier, before traveling to face Armenia on Sunday, Nov. 15 (9:00 a.m. PT) and Estonia on Wednesday, Nov. 18 (9:00 a.m. PT) in Nations League. Georgia is currently in second place in League C’s Group 2 with a 1-3-0 record.
