SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes will host the ‘Best Game Ever’ presented by Avaya, this Saturday, June 23 at 1:50 p.m. PT, following the 2018 FIFA World Cup match between Sweden and Germany. The ‘Best Game Ever’ will feature two underserved U-12 youth teams competing in a professional experience at the home of the Quakes.
The Monterey Condors and the Winchester Select League will compete on the Avaya Stadium pitch with supporters cheering them on. Current Quakes defender Shea Salinas and legend Victor Bernardez will serve as celebrity coaches, while an announcer will share major moments over the PA system and the video board will broadcast the action as it unfolds. The teams will also participate in a full pregame walkout, team photos, coin flip and national anthem.
Fans are invited to stick around after watching the World Cup match and cheer on the two teams. Admission and parking is free for this event.
