San Jose Earthquakes Girls’ Academy defender Andrea Kitahata has been ranked No. 1 in the Northern California/Hawaii region for the Class of 2021 by TopDrawerSoccer.
Kitahata has also been tabbed at the nation’s eighth-best player overall for her graduating class, moving up two spots from the last ranking. Per TDS, she has a list of colleges interested in her commitment, including Stanford, Cal, Duke, UCLA, North Carolina, Harvard, Yale, Princeton and more.
Kitahata, who plays for the Quakes’ U-17 squad, has scored five goals in nine appearances so far this season. The native of Hillsborough received a call-up to the U-15 Girls’ National Team earlier this year.
