SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes defender Marcos Lopez has been called to the Peru National Team for a pair of international friendlies against Colombia and Chile.
Peru will face Colombia on Friday, Nov. 15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida (5:30 p.m. PT). Peru will then host Chile on Tuesday, Nov. 19 in Lima, Peru (5:30 p.m. PT).
Lopez, 19, signed for the Earthquakes ahead of the 2019 season. In his debut season with San Jose, Lopez made 15 starts in 18 total MLS appearances, and tallied an assist in San Jose’s 2-2 draw versus FC Dallas on June 8. He has made two prior appearances for the Peru National Team.
