SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose Earthquakes defender Marcos Lopez has been called to the Peru National Team for a pair of international friendlies against Ecuador and Brazil.
Peru will face Ecuador on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey (5 p.m. PT). Peru will then take on Brazil on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, Calif. (7:30 p.m. PT).
Lopez, 19, signed for the Earthquakes ahead of the 2019 season and has tallied one assist in 14 MLS appearances (11 starts) so far this year. He has made two prior appearances for the Peru National Team.
